Interesting Places in Atimonan
Quezon National Park
With an area of about 9,830,765 hectares, the park has an intricate system of caves, waterfalls, springs, creeks, gorges, and ravines set against a quaint backdrop of lush greenery.

Zigzag Road Also referred to as Bitukang Manok or Eme Road, Zigzag Road can be found in the middle of the Quezon National Park.
Atimonan Rockclimbing
This abandoned rock quarry 165km south of Manila is easy to get to, and offers a variety of routes, some suitable for beginners, others quite difficult.

Iskong Bantay Watchtower
It was built by the Spanish authorities as a watchtower to warn the townsfolk of Atimonan of impending pirate attacks. It is located in Atimonan town proper.


Lamon Bay
It is a body of water connecting the northern part of Quezon to the Pacific Ociean. It bounds the coastal towns of Atimonan, Gumaca, Plaridel, Lopez, and Calauag, and the islands of Alabat.

Bantakay Water Falls
Malusak Cave
It is probably the longest cave in Atimonan, with a clearance of more or less 2 feet in height. It is located in Barangay Malusak, Atimonan, Quezon.


Maria Cristina Park
It is a promenade park with an area of 200 square meters, built along the Lamon Bay area in Atimonan. It is located along the Maharlika Highway, Atimonan, Quezon.


Pinagbanderahan It is a monument at the heart of the National Forest Park built in 1938 under the commonwealth government.

Lumiliay River Waterfalls
It is approximately 114 km. from the barangay proper and is blessed with fresh, clean water. It is located in Barangay Caridad, Atimonan, Quezon.


Magsaysay Waterfalls
It has clean and fresh water. It abounds in tall trees and is ideal for picnicking. It is located in Barangay Malinao, Atimonan, Quezon.


Atimonan Church
This church was first built in 1640 but was burned during an invasion.

Sirena
Located along the main highway, the sculpture of Sirena is an interesting sight for the motorists.

Balagtas Sports Complex
It provides adequate space for recreational activities. It is located at Zone IV - Poblacion, Atimonan, Quezon.


Hunters ROTC Veterans Park
It is a park located at the gateway of the Poblacion, built in memory of the brave Atimonan soldiers who fought during the Japanese war. \

Leon Guinto Boulevard
It is a place for the scenic viewing of Lamon Bay and Alabat Island. It is located at Zone IV - Poblacion, Atimonan, Quezon.


Roman Catholic Park It is a mini-park located in front of the Roman Catholic Church in Barangay Zone IV - Poblacion, Atimonan, Quezon.

Challenged People

I called them "challenged people " rather than Disabled people , (which implies negative characteristics on ones person ). I still believe that labelling is a self fulfilling phrophecy .The term " Challenged People" is more fair ,accurate and universal , where anybody's negative capabilities is called challenges. this topic contributes to come up on helpful hints on how to cross the challenges in a normal ways.
